A JBS announced this Monday (June 3, 2024) that it will open more than 1,000 job vacancies in Rio Grande do Sul. 240 jobs will also be created in the city of Westfalia to double chicken production at Cooperativa Languiru, the company’s partner.

Most of the opportunities are in the poultry production units of Seara de Montenegro and Passo Fundo and also in the Seberi pig plant. There are more than 180 vacancies in each.
Eduardo Leite he said on your profile on X (formerly Twitter) that the company’s initiative is a “demonstration of trust” in Rio Grande do Sul and in Rio Grande do Sul. He declared that he had received the announcement “with great enthusiasm”.
“The State’s recovery after the floods involves gestures like this”, said the governor. The region has been suffering the consequences of a major flood since the end of April. According to Civil Defense bulletin released at 9 am this Monday (May 3), 475 municipalities were affected and 172 died as a result of the rains.
