A case may be filed against Noize MC for non-compliance with the law on foreign agents
Against rapper Noize MC (Ivan Alekseev; recognized as a foreign agent in Russia) may initiate a criminal case for evading the duties provided for by the legislation on foreign agents (Article 330.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). This is reported by TASS with reference to law enforcement agencies.
The agency’s interlocutor said that the musician was repeatedly brought to administrative responsibility for refusing to indicate the status of a foreign agent (Article 19.34 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation), so there are grounds for a criminal case.
Noize MC may face a fine of 300 thousand rubles and up to two years in prison. The rapper himself left Russia in 2022.
In March, a third administrative case was opened against the performer under the article on violation of the law on foreign agents.
