Russia’s decision to remove buoys on the Narva River on the border with Estonia is a provocation. This was stated by the High Representative of the European Union (EU) for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell. He demanded an explanation from Moscow regarding this incident.

Borrell stressed that the European Union is “closely monitoring the situation.” He criticized Moscow’s actions, calling them “hybrid influence.”
