Tusk: Polish security forces are checking Russia’s “involvement” in the fire in a shopping center in Warsaw
Warsaw is checking the version of Russia’s alleged possible involvement in the fire in the shopping center, said Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk. Writes about this RIA News.
The politician did not provide any evidence that the Russian side could have been involved in the incident. “We are checking the version that the Russian special services could have something in common with the sensational fire,” he emphasized at the press conference.
Tusk noted that Polish security forces are now actively investigating sabotage in the country. Previously, they detained nine suspects in such actions. “Three more were detained tonight,” the prime minister said.
There have been several large fires in Poland in recent days. The fire broke out in a shopping center on Marywilska Street in Warsaw on May 12. The building was completely burned down. In addition, on different days, a bus depot, a school, a chemical waste dump were on fire, and an explosion occurred at a firefighting school.
