The IV edition of the Mares de Papel cycle starts this week with three concerts on the esplanade of Las Gredas in Bolnuevo at 10:00 p.m. All of them will be free to enter until full capacity is reached.
The first event in the cycle is the concert ‘Acordes de música y danza II’, which will be held tonight. The musical association Maestro Eugenio Calderón and the Academia de Danza y Teatro De Rosa come together to perform the suites from the opera ‘Carmen’, by Bizet, seeking to create synergies between musical training and dance learning, with the aim of to coordinate cultural concerns and create a joint show of both.
The singer Toni Zenet will present in concert the songs from his latest album, ‘La estación del momento’
The second date of the festival will be led by Toni Zenet. The singer will present in concert the songs from his latest album, ‘La estación del momento’. Accompanied in the musical production by Kumar Sublevao Beat, a Cuban musician with roots in hip hop, Zenet has experimented with a new color palette, integrating electronics at the service of his style. In a natural way, without feeling forced, he coexists perfectly with his jazz and R&B references. ‘Dieta de besos’, ‘Amarte’, ‘Amor a tres’ and ‘Cóctel molotov’ are some of the new songs by this ‘showman’ that will sound on stage, where he will be accompanied by a band of experienced soloists. “The musicians spread their enjoyment to the viewer and make the experience of attending one of their concerts unforgettable and enriching,” they explain from the organization about this concert as part of the Rejazz festival.
A “demanding” program
Ainhoa Arteta, the most international Spanish soprano, arrives at the Mazarrón International Chamber Music Festival (FIMM) accompanied by the Murcia Region Symphony Orchestra this Sunday, July 9. Musicians and soloists will perform “a program full of works of undeniable beauty and demand that are part of the unquestionable vocal repertoire of both the history of opera and zarzuela, as well as the world of song. Small and large universes to which the performers will transport us tonight thanks to their necessary complicity and proven quality”. Mihnea Ignat, one of the leading Romanian conductors of his generation, will take the baton. He is currently Principal Conductor of the City of Elche Symphony Orchestra (Spain) and Principal Guest Conductor of the Bucharest National Opera.
The rest of the Mares de Papel programming, as reported by the Mazarrón Town Hall, will be announced soon through the different institutional media of the Consistory and on the festival’s social profiles.
