Striking Distance Studio developers have unveiled that The Callisto Protocol will have a performance mode a 60 fps on PS5 and Xbox Series X.
The confirmation came with a post on Twitter, where the studio also reiterated that The Callisto Protocol has not been postponed, contrary to what was reported yesterday by the Epic Games Store.
“We’d like to inform you that we will be shipping (The Callisto Protocol) worldwide on December 2nd. And yes, we will have a 60 fps performance mode,” the studio’s message.
The announcement should therefore reassure all users worried about being faced with another game without a console performance mode, after the striking cases of Gotham Knights and A Plague Tale Requiem running at 30 fps on PS5 and Xbox Series X. In this sense, the timing of this announcement would not seem random at all, but rather targeted to ride the wave of discussions on the net generated by the titles of Warner Bros. Games and Studio Asobo.
We remind you that The Callisto Protocol will be available for PC and console starting from December 2, 2022. Recently, game director Glen Schofield unveiled the duration of the game’s campaign.
