In the Menzelinsky district of Tatarstan, a light aircraft made a hard landing on the river. The incident occurred on August 24, according to the Central Interregional Investigation Department for Transport of the Russian Investigative Committee, reports TASS.
Among the preliminary causes of what happened in the Russian region, the agency considers a pilot error, a technical malfunction or adverse weather conditions.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, two people were injured during a hard landing of the plane – they were taken to the hospital with bruises on the soft tissues of the face. After the incident, the Russians were noticed and rescued by eyewitnesses on a boat.
The hydroplane that splashed down on the river belongs to the Menzelinsk flying club. On the aircraft, the pilots conducted training flights for piloting on water.
Earlier, as a result of a hard landing of a light aircraft in the Komi Republic, the pilot of the aircraft was injured. It performed a test flight after maintenance in the Russian city of Yemva.
