In the northeast of Argentina is the Iberá Park, the largest biodiversity reserve in the country. Although most of the fauna disappeared completely in the 20th century, scientists reintroduced native species in danger of extinction such as anteaters, scarlet macaws and even jaguars, which are the cornerstone of this ecosystem. An initiative that also benefits local communities.
