Capital gains, all acquitted: no conviction for Agnelli and De Laurentiis
All acquitted. This is the ruling on the case of capital gains which involved 59 people between managers and companies. At first Giuseppe Chinèthe FIGC prosecutor, had asked for 12 months of inhibition for Juventus president Andrea Agnelli and 11 months and 5 days for Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis.
The companies involved in the investigation there were eleven: 5 of Serie A (Juve, Napoli, Sampdoria, Empoli and Genoa), 2 of Serie B (Pisa and Parma), more Pro Vercelli And Pescara and the no longer affiliated ones Chievo And Novara. The federal court “acquitted all the clubs, managers and administrators of the clubs. Initially they had been referred by the Federal Prosecutor for accounting in the financial reports for capital gains and rights to the services of the players for values exceeding those permitted by accounting principles”.
