German football club Hertha Berlin has received Corona aid from the German Federal Government.
In statements to the German “Kicker” magazine, the club’s financial director, Ingo Schiller, said today, Thursday, “Reflecting all hopes, the Corona pandemic kept us in a state of anticipation and had significant economic impacts, especially in the field of viewing revenue, and for this we applied for the third stage of aid bypassing The crisis was approved and the amount was disbursed.”
According to the magazine’s report, the value of the aid amounted to about 7 million euros.
It is reported that the amount paid by the federal government was restricted for budgetary reasons in the second half of 2021, and the amount appeared in the club’s financial report, which was prepared by Matsars, a tax consultancy and economic audit.
The report stated that the operating profit of 7.9 million euros rose significantly thanks to the amount paid by the federal government.
