Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Sunday that participants in the Swiss summit on peace in Ukraine agreed to continue working in special groups after this event.
Zelensky added, in a joint press conference, “We agreed to start working in special groups after the summit to discuss specific ideas, proposals and developments that could restore security at various levels.”
He said, “When the action plans for peace become ready and when each step is completed, the way will be open for the second peace summit.”
The summit, which was held in a resort in the Swiss Alps, was attended by more than 90 countries, as well as international organizations and bodies. It was held at the request of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
But Russia was not invited and made it clear that it did not wish to attend.
