Factory Indian rider Shayna Texter is a true pioneer in flattracking. It all started when she became the first woman ever to win an American Flat Track race in 2011.
In 2014 she switched from the Singles to Twins, after which she had a bit more trouble for a number of years and ended up in the Singles class again in 2017. A choice that did her no harm. texter, barely 1m53 tall (!) drew on her tactical insight and iron willpower. She raced for the factory KTM team until 2021, with the most wins ever in the Singles class to her name.
This season, she again made the move to the Super Twins class, playing in the Indian factory team. In the Super Twins she competes against her team and husband Briar Bauman†
Texter currently occupies tenth place in the AFT Championship, which puts her four places better than her brother Cory. Her husband Briar Bauman is still in the fight for the title with his second place.
