Luciano Mazzetti He is one of the most recognized Peruvian chefs at the national level. He earned the public’s affection for his simplicity and charisma through different culinary programs broadcast on Movistar Plus TV. However, currently he no longer works on the small screen.
“Cocina en un toca”, “Best kitchen” and “Tastes like Peru” were the television spots that catapulted him to fame; However, his dream was to mix his passion for travel and gastronomy, and when he had the opportunity to lead the new show “Peru Aventura”, he considered it the “dream job”, but in the end he did not was chosen.

At first, Luciano Mazzetti decided on a career in Industrial Engineering, but he realized that his true passion was gastronomy and travel. Likewise, he also ventured into the world of modeling at the age of 17 and that was his window to enter television.
His first appearance on the screen was in a space of the extinct program “Oh goddesses!” and then “The Good Life.” Then came “Cocina en un toca”, his first show of his own, in which she taught homemade recipes.
“The idea is that people know that cooking is not difficult or boring and that eating healthy has nothing to do with eating only lettuce, but also with eating at home”, he told the Sommelier media.
He considers himself a “spontaneous” person and tries to be as honest as possible in front of the screens. “I don’t pretend that, because he works on television, he is the ideal character, but rather the opposite, that they say: ‘He is a normal guy, who is wrong,'” he added.
Luciano Mazzetti also ventured as an entrepreneur by opening his own craft brewery, which he called Magdalena and in the end he sold it to his partner. He also worked in various restaurants, in which he assures that there is a competitive atmosphere and, even, on certain occasions “violent”.

The renowned Peruvian chef Luciano Mazzetti has its own YouTube channel “Travel and try” and now he is a gastronomic influencer. He maintains almost half a million followers by linking his personal profile and that of the show on Instagram.
This space has allowed him to travel to all corners of the country and grow as a person and professionally. “In this program, my partner Rodolfo Quiroz and I we do what provokes us, far from a rigid television format, we leave the classic tourist circuits and that is the real value of ‘Travel and try’”, he told Sommelier.
He specified that they address a different audience. “They can see us at any time, in the combi, in the office.” Along the same lines, they also spread our various customs, as in the community of Santa Clara, of Shipibo Konibo origins in the Amazon.
Likewise, the Peruvian chef also shows the wildlife of our region in his videos. On one of his trips he visited the Punta San Juan Reserve in Marcona and was able to spot families of sea lions and Humboldt penguins.

Luciano Mazzetti confessed that at one point in his life he felt “stagnant” professionally and it was only on a trip with friends that the light came on.
“What happens is at some point in my life I wasn’t learning new things. And the best way to learn new experiences is traveling. When I meet my friends, they remind me that I always wanted to travel, eat and cook. It was my dream. It’s something I had in my head until, three years ago, I got together with Rodolfo Quiroz, my partner, who has experience in television production, and we decided to launch ‘Viaja y Test’”, he told Somos magazine.
