First impressions
The #36, which also just recovered from a crash in Friday’s free practice, nevertheless greeted a complex 2023 by expressing good impressions from the tests carried out: “It was a good day and I am satisfied with what we saw from the prototype – has explained – the first positive aspect was being able to try, because after Friday’s crash it wasn’t guaranteed. At the end of the day I started to feel some pain, but the important thing is that we managed to complete the work program, managing to solve many problems. We practiced until the end of the day and we didn’t have the chance to do a real time attack, but that wasn’t the goal: our pace was good and the developments are positive. There is still work to be done, but the first steps are in right direction and we can face the winter looking with confidence at what awaits us.”
