When answering your lawyer’s questions, The Colombian claimed that he formed a gang of card thieves. That day, his goal was supposedly to rob the man she had dated.
However, he had an “impulse” in the middle of the chance encounter: “It was like grabbing him like that, giving him kisses on the neck. In a moment like… I don’t know whether to stun him, as (his accomplices) told me.”
According to his version, after grabbing the man’s neck, he gave up on the plan and his victim began to scream because he thought he was going to kill him. Nelson David accepted that, in the middle of the struggle, he attacked him.
“He kept screaming, very upset. At that moment I was more scared than him. He grabbed me by the jacket, I tried to get away. I saw an object that was on the hall table, I turned around and, as if to get away, I hit it, hitting it. I didn’t let it fall even with much force,” he said.
When he escaped, he said, he met his accomplices and told them what happened: “They insisted that I try to stun him, but I have never been aggressive. They told me: ‘You screwed up and we have to open up.'”
That time Moreno forgot a backpack, where authorities found his identification and an ecstasy that he would have used, says the Prosecutor’s Office, to drug other of his victims.

‘He could be a serial killer’
The police officers testified at the trial and declared that the Colombian’s name appears in the investigations of seven deaths of other men, which initially seemed natural, and another attempted homicide.
They denied that, as Nelson David said, they had belonged to a gang of thieves, since there is no information about their identities.
The accused “could be a possible serial killer,” they noted, since there are indications of his possible relationship with those seven deaths with common characteristics.: the homosexual condition of the victims, the way in which they were found without evidence of violence and that they took out money and made purchases with their bank cards, as the agents explained.
Within the evidentiary material, there are videos in which he appears alone withdrawing the money and selling the personal belongings of his victims.
The trial will continue for other days. The victims have testified behind closed doors.
