The first winner of Champion of Championsand also two-time champion, was the late Club Spainwho won the trophy in the 1943-44 and 1944-45 seasons.

The Panzas Verdes have won the trophy five times, however, they have also lost it four times.
La Fiera was two-time champion in 1947-48 and 1948-49. First, after beating 1-0 to Veracruz with target of Adalberto ‘Dumbo’ Lopez and then by being League and Cup champion.
The third came for 1955-56, beating 2-1 Toluca with a double of Osvaldo Martinoli and in 1970-71, Luis Estrada put the minimum to bend the America.

The Eagles are the second most successful with six titles, for seven sub-championships, the most recent in 2014-2015.

The biggest winner so far is Guadalajara with seven Champion of Champions, which they lost three times, most recently in 2016-17.
His first title came in 1956-57 after defeating 2-1 Zacatepec; then, in 1958-59, they again surpassed the Rod holders for the same result.
A year later they would be two-time champions by winning 12-11 on penalties Necaxathanks to Hector Hernandezcoming the tri-championship a year later by beating 1-0 to Tampico with goal of Javier Valdivia.
