In Russia it is the day of the last farewell to Darya Dugina, daughter of Alexander Dugin, who died in the explosion of her car on Saturday night. The memorial service, reports the BBC, is held at the Ostankino Television Center. “She died for the people, for Russia,” Dugin said.
Yesterday, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the posthumous assignment of the Order of Courage to the Dugina. For Dugin, his daughter’s death was caused by “an act of terrorism by the Ukrainian Nazi regime” and now, she commented yesterday with a reference to the conflict in Ukraine, “we only need victory”.
Kiev has once again denied its involvement in the murder of Darya Dugina, the responsibility of which the Russian secret services attributed to a Ukrainian woman who allegedly acted on behalf of the intelligence. “We do not work in this way – said the secretary of the Defense and National Security Council, Oleg Danilov, quoted by Ukrainian TV – We have more important tasks for our boys and girls. The FSB has done this and now suggests that it was one of ours “.
Yesterday the advisor to the Ukrainian president, Mikhailo Podolyak, had already rejected the accusations of Moscow, claiming that Russia “lives in a world of fiction” and denouncing the beginning of an “internal struggle” between power groups in the Federation.
For Estonia it is “a provocation” what is claimed by the Russian secret services, according to which the alleged killer of Darya Dugina fled to Estonia. This is what Estonian Foreign Minister Urmas Reinsalu quoted by the ETV broadcaster said: “We consider this as an example of provocation in a very long series of provocations by the Russian Federation, and we have nothing else to say at the moment”. The Tallinn chief of diplomacy stressed that all of this is also part of the Kremlin’s attempts to pressure Estonia for its support for Ukraine.
