Bagheri said in a statement: “All capabilities, equipment and capabilities of the army, the Revolutionary Guard and the police must be employed to provide relief and search for the president’s helicopter and his companions,” according to Tasnim news agency.
The armed forces, army, Revolutionary Guards, and police have been present in the area since the first hours of the incident.
In this context, the head of the Red Crescent operations room said that 4 teams approached the coordinates of the helicopter landing site.
Due to the bad weather conditions and the difficulty of accessing the area, the search process is difficult and there is no possibility to search by drones or helicopters.
For his part, the official government spokesman, Bahadori Jahormi, said: “We are going through difficult and complex circumstances. People and the media have the right to be informed of the latest news about the president’s helicopter accident, but according to the coordinates of the accident site and the weather conditions, there is no new news yet.”
He continued: “In these moments, patience, prayer, and trust in relief groups are the way forward.”
