His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, received Bill Gates, co-chair of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. During the meeting in Abu Dhabi, His Highness and Bill Gates discussed strengthening humanitarian cooperation between the relevant institutions in the UAE and the Bill Gates Foundation in the field of disease control, in addition to reviewing the results of joint cooperation and future initiatives a decade after the first charitable cooperation between the two sides. His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan praised the level of cooperation between the two sides, and the results achieved, based on the common concern to extend a helping hand to all people so that they could enjoy a healthy and dignified life, stressing the importance of intensifying efforts to eliminate preventable infectious diseases and improve the lives of the poorest communities in the world.
