John Wick It has become one of the most popular franchises of the last decade. So, it shouldn’t be a big surprise to hear that Lionsgate doesn’t plan to restrict itself to just movies. Not only do we know which series and more spin-off films are on the way, But it has been announced that a John Wick anime is already in development.
Through an interview with The Playlist, Chad Stahelski, director of the saga, revealed his plans to expand the John Wick universe. Although the fourth film seems to have put an end to the story starring Keanu Reeves, This does not mean that there are no projects focused on other characters, and that includes an anime. This is what Stahelski commented about this production:
“We are very excited because we are doing that [serie] and a Japanese anime because he loved Japanese anime a lot. So to create all the cool stories that the anime could do better than us and the TV series to expand our world, we’ll still have our excitement, you know what I mean? And we will still have fun.”
At the moment many details about this anime are unknown. However, considering the large repertoire of characters, It is not ruled out that this story stars Caine, Donnie Yen’s character. In related topics, Lionsgate talks about the John Wick game. Likewise, here we tell you where to watch all the films in the series.
Editor’s Note:
John Wick is a very good work, but Lionsgate is greatly overexploiting the property. Although at the moment we have not found any flaws in the productions that have been announced, there is always the possibility that some of the projects are not as good as expected.
