Why was Fujifilm’s new Digital Transformation (DT) business line born?
Fujifilm has been a relevant player in this market for many years through its historical association with another company, providing both technology and equipment production capacity. Once that association was finalized, it was time to take a step forward and directly offer to the market all the cutting-edge technology and solutions resulting from so many years of presence in this market.
What do you offer to the market?
Fujifilm offers with its Apeos range multifunctional equipment with the most advanced technologies in both print quality up to A3, document management printing from multiple sources and locations, as well as printing speed to ensure productivity and state-of-the-art security systems, leading in its class. Keypoint Intelligence, with protection against unauthorized users or access. Not to mention the latest advances in sustainability thanks to LED head technologies and low-temperature fusion Super EA-Eco toner.
What role does the new line of A3 multifunction office printers, Apeos series, play in Fujifilm’s global strategy to drive the digital transformation of SMEs?
Our equipment fits perfectly with the services needed by both small and medium-sized companies, communities and institutions, so we could say that we have a large potential market to provide innovative and technologically proven solutions. Efficiency, quality, safety and sustainability are parameters that companies count on for their transformation and growth.
What benefits and features would you highlight of the new multifunction printers for small and medium-sized businesses?
In addition to a class-leading 1200 x 2400 dpi print resolution, its advanced security system, Keypoint Intelligence, with protection against unauthorized users or access and automatic image adjustment, automatic orientation of scanned documents and technologies variable printing speed are some of the functions that guarantee maximum efficiency and productivity in document management.
What trends do you observe in the field of business management and printing in Spain? Is there a market for a new player?
This market has a size of more than 80,000 units annually and a growth rate that is between 2 and 3%. We see multifunctional teams as key elements within document management, communications and security environments of companies.
What growth expectations do you have for the short-medium term?
It is difficult to set quantitative objectives, what we do know is that the new business unit thanks to the Apeos equipment will have a relevant role in Fujifilm’s printing business both in Europe and in Spain.
