The Investopia Investment Summit, which was launched by the UAE government, announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding with BlackRock, the largest asset management company in the world, to cooperate and enrich the discussions of the workshops during the work of the first edition of the Investopia Investment Summit on 28 March. As part of the Expo 2020 Dubai activities.
Under the memorandum of understanding, BlackRock will be a global investment partner for the Investopia Summit 2022.
The signing of the memorandum was witnessed by His Excellency Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy, while the memorandum was signed by Abdullah Al Saleh, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy, and Pachalis Bouchores, Managing Director and Regional Head of BlackRock Company in Dubai, in the presence of a number of senior officials from both sides.
Abdullah Al Saleh said, “Under this agreement, BlackRock will participate in the work and activities of the summit through keynote speeches and discussions in the various axes of the workshops, as well as media participation, and other additional support for the summit.”
His Excellency added, “The Investopia Summit works to drive global investments, increase growth, accelerate innovation and contribute to the prosperity and prosperity of future generations. It is where the world’s investing partners work together to shape innovative models of the business environment and future partnership patterns that will generate new investment opportunities.”

It is worth noting that the summit represents one of the main initiatives within the “50 projects” announced by the UAE government in September 2021, as it will bring together leaders of governments and non-governmental organizations, representatives of the private sector, investment banks, family businesses, investment funds, academic and research institutions, and investment offices from around the world. To unlock ideas, provide opportunities, and enable investments in the future.
The first edition of the summit is characterized by an agenda rich with the most prominent economic issues on the global stage, as it witnesses the participation of thought leaders and industry experts, as well as decision-makers, investors, innovators from small and medium-sized companies, start-ups and entrepreneurs, and a number of accelerators and business incubators.
