Faisal Al Rahmani, President of the International Federation for Purebred Arabian Horse Racing (Ifhar), General Supervisor of the President’s Cup Series for Purebred Arabian Horses, discussed with Munther bin Saif bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Oman Equestrian Federation, ways of joint cooperation between the two sides. This came during a meeting. It was held at the Meydan Hotel in Dubai, in the presence of Hamoud bin Ali Al Nasiri, Secretary General of the Oman Equestrian Federation.
The two sides reviewed support and coordination by setting an agenda to enable the two parties to achieve common goals, and Efhar’s follow-up of the most important developments in purebred Arabian horse racing in the Sultanate of Oman. The most important achievements of the Omani Federation during the past year were also presented.
The meeting also discussed the most important challenges facing the Omani Equestrian Federation, and developed solutions to address them. The most important development plans that it had adopted to support Omani trainers and riders and Arabian horse racing were reviewed. The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Omani Equestrian Federation extended an invitation to the President of “Ifhar” to hold an official meeting during the period. Faisal Al-Rahmani stressed the importance of the Sultanate of Oman as a member of the Executive Council of the International Federation for Purebred Arabian Horse Racing and the pivotal role it plays in supporting purebred Arabian horse racing around the world. He said: “The International Federation for Purebred Arabian Horse Racing will provide support to the Omani Federation, technically and technically, by all available means. Joint plans and mechanisms will also be developed to support Omani riders and Arabian horse racing in the Sultanate of Oman.”
