Russia must give up nuclear weapons when concluding a peace agreement after the end of the conflict in Ukraine. Such a statement did Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine General Ivan Gavrilyuk in an interview with the newspaper Der Tagesspiegel.
He noted that any conflict ends at the negotiating table. According to the forecast of the Deputy Minister of Defense, in this case the agreement is made by a coalition of countries supporting Ukraine on the one hand, and Russia on the other. “This document must include Russia’s renunciation of nuclear weapons, since they pose a threat to the whole world,” Gavrilyuk said.
