Il Messaggero: thieves robbed the Bulgari jewelry store in Rome for 500 thousand euros
The attackers robbed the Bulgari jewelry store on Via dei Condotti in Rome; the total damage from the thieves’ actions amounted to about 500 thousand euros. About the incident reports local newspaper Il Messaggero.
It is clarified that the offenders entered the store around midnight through a hole in the floor of one of the service rooms and stole jewelry worth about 30 thousand euros each. The gang consisted of five people, all the thieves were wearing masks and balaclavas.
Police are investigating the theft. Local law enforcement officials now have recordings from a video surveillance system installed in the jewelry store. They also gained access to cameras in nearby stores and on city streets.
Earlier, the joint press service of the judicial system of the Kursk region spoke about the verdict handed down against the former general director of the Babylon and Art Deco companies, Vladimir Berezin. He was sentenced to 7 years under article of fraud for the theft of jewelry totaling 460 million rubles. Berezin will serve his sentence in a general regime colony.
