Guatemala.- The Guatemalan authorities expelled from the Central American country 21 migrants of different nationalities, the vast majority from Venezuela.
The foregoing by failing to comply with the migratory laws of the Central American nation whose intention was to be able to cross the borders of Guatemala and Mexico and, with it, cross into U.Saccording to what was reported by the Guatemalan immigration office.
The Guatemalan migration agency stated that the undocumented immigrants had transgressed “the established immigration requirements, (and) were expelled from Guatemalan territory, through the Agua Caliente border post” that borders Honduras, detailed the Guatemalan Institute of Migration.

The group of migrants was found at kilometer 226 of the Inter-American highway. The migratory contingent was made up of 17 people of Venezuelan nationality, a Brazilian, a Colombian, an Ecuadorian and a Cuban.
The information published by the immigration authorities of the neighboring country of Mexico recalls that people from Venezuela and Cuba must present a consulted visa in order to enter Guatemala.

Meanwhile, in Mexican territory, migrants from Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Venezuela and Cuba are protesting in front of the offices of the National Migration Institute (INM) against the government of Mexico demanding that they be given visas for humanitarian reasons.
“We need an urgent humanitarian visa, we do not want to bother Mexico, we thank Mexico, Mexicans are great people, but we only ask that they let us pass so as not to bother or inconvenience anyone and we ask that they give us all papers,” said one Guatemalan woman to the agency EFE.
Last Friday, February 4, a group made up of 20 undocumented immigrants began a hunger strike in the city of Tapachula, in the state of Chiapas, after remaining stranded waiting for documents to be authorized to circulate regularly in the national territory.

Meanwhile, a day before, on Thursday, February 3, they were bodies of three migrants from Guatemala located in Comalapa, Chiapas, who had been reported missing since January 30 of this year. The bodies were found inside a Nissan brand car.
