In this chapter of France in Focus we talk about green hydrogen. We will know its uses, especially in transport, and what the NGOs think, which are rather critical of the rise of this energy. Green hydrogen is obtained by splitting the water molecule into hydrogen and oxygen using electricity. For this electricity to be green, it must come from renewable sources, be it wind energy or solar energy, which makes its price more expensive than that of fossil energies.
