Ferrari has a planning of its activities that leaves nothing to chance. The Scuderia has scheduled two days of testing in Fiorano tomorrow and Friday to “wean” the SF-24 with the new aerodynamic package which will debut in Imola, but not only.
Someone had hinted that the home track had been kept free for two days due to possible weather uncertainties. Thursday should be overcast, while sunshine is expected on Friday, so the weather aspect will not affect the work of the Maranello team.

And by searching for more detailed information, data emerges that testify to the rigorous organization of the Racing Department under the direction of Fred Vasseur. The idea over the two days would be to complete three different activities taking advantage of the second 200 km filming day:
- first, to finally evaluate on the track the real potential of the first of the three update packages planned for this season and which will change the face of the SF-24;
- second, carry out commercial filming after Hewlett Packard’s arrival as title sponsor from the Miami GP;
- third, to offer Oliver Bearman, the third driver of the Cavallino, the opportunity to train in view of his first outing on the Haas VF-24 in FP1 at the Enzo e Dino Ferrari.

The Scuderia seeks to express its maximum potential by evaluating on the track with Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz the full correspondence of the data between the wind tunnel and the simulator with the track to confirm a good correlation in the development work carried out by Enrico Cardile’s staff.

The red team at Imola will introduce several new features all together so it will not be easy to understand what actually works best and the opportunity to run at Fiorano is certainly a great opportunity to carry out important preliminary work which could be fundamental in defining the setup to be decided upon for the Made in Italy and Emilia Romagna GP.
