From today, Friday, Egypt is expected to witness a state of improvement and stability in weather conditions that will continue throughout the next week.
According to a statement issued by the Egyptian Meteorological Authority regarding the expected weather during the period from February 11 to 16, cold weather will prevail during the day in the governorates of Greater Cairo (Cairo, Giza and Qalyubia), Lower Egypt, and the northern coasts.
Mild weather prevails in northern Upper Egypt, and warm in southern Sinai and southern Upper Egypt.
Maximum temperatures vary between 18 and 21 degrees Celsius, while minimum temperatures range between 10 and 12 degrees Celsius.
Over the past two days, Egypt has witnessed a drop in temperatures slightly below their normal rates at this time of the year, affected by a cold air front, as well as a noticeable activity by northwest winds that increased the sense of cold weather.
