As we have already reported, Deadpool 3 will be able to count on a much loved character: Wolverine. The hero will once again be played by Hugh Jackman. Now, the Logan director – film in which Wolverine meets his own end – is about the character’s return and debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
After initially reacting to the news by posting a GIF of Wolverine being stabbed by the Wolverine clone in Logan, the director of the film James Mangold he clarified his thinking. “Oh my God! Everyone relax,” she tweeted. “Just kidding! I’m fine! Logan will always be there. Multiverse or prequel, time warp or wormhole, canon or non-canon or even without logic, I can’t wait to see what madness my dear friends Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman! “.
Reynolds he then replied to Mangold with a goat emoji (aka “goat” as GOAT – Greatest Of All Time, ‘the greatest ever’), with Jackman agreeing: “I can’t believe I have to say that but it’s late, so let’s use this excuse … Ryan Reynolds is right. Mangold is the GOAT! “.
Some fans had in fact not taken that very well Wolverine come back this way. The truth, however, is that said by the director of Logan: it does not matter how Disney and Marvel will manage the canon of the character; the various films will continue to exist and can be seen and reviewed.
Finally, we leave you to the Deadpool 3 announcement video, which you can see here.
