The decisive month of the Porsche Carrera Cup Italia has begun, which between Monza and Mugello will assign all the titles and the last podiums and victories of the season. This weekend the fifth and penultimate round will be held on the Autodromo Nazionale and among the contenders the Brianza circuit is considered by Bonaldi Motorsport to be the home one, among other things in the past years of excellent performances for the team directed on the track by Marco Bielli .
After a season that at the moment has reserved more disappointments than satisfactions, the rider Andrea Fontana is particularly charged and determined to end an unfortunate year in a positive way. The rider from Belluno has not so far collected those results that he has been targeting and that he would have deserved on several occasions, but he has shown that he has the possibilities to aspire to an important seasonal final.
Starting from Monza, which is around the corner: “It has been a season so far in which we have not picked up what we deserved – Fontana said –, however, we have seen that the potential is there. The goal is to do well and try to stay in the top positions: to do this an excellent qualification will be essential and then play everything in race 1. My concentration is high: a podium finish, which we are chasing for too long, I think it’s feasible! “.
The two Carrera Cup races in Monza are scheduled for Saturday at 16.10 and Sunday at 12.00. For both confirmed the live broadcast by Sky Sport Action on TV and on www.carreracupitalia.it on the web, while race 2 on Sunday will also be available on free-to-air TV through Cielo, digital terrestrial channel 26
