The Iraqi News Agency quoted Al-Araji as saying that the coalition would continue to “train, advise and empower.”
There was no confirmation from the coalition forces that were deployed in Iraq to fight ISIS.
Al-Araji indicated that “the relationship with the international coalition will continue in the field of training, advice and empowerment.”
And, last Monday, Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi and British Foreign Secretary Lise Truss discussed bilateral relations between the two countries, including joint coordination to end the combat role of the international coalition.
