Izvestia: Russia Completes Development of Pavlin Communications Masking System
The development of the communications camouflage system “Pavlin” has been completed, and its testing is nearing completion. This was reported with reference to the CEO of the company “Technoreform” Sergey Musatov they report “News”.
The complex is necessary for remote control of communications equipment, allowing military personnel to be at a distance from the receiving and transmitting devices, which, in the event of a radio station being detected, could be attacked by an enemy. The development of the Peacock, prototypes of which have been tested by Russian soldiers, began in 2023.
“The feedback is very good, since with the increase in radio camouflage, headquarters deployment points, decision-making centers and simply temporary concentrations of soldiers and officers have become less subject to missile and artillery attacks,” the general director said.
Earlier, a defense company representative with the call sign Kaskad told RIA Novosti that tests of a new satellite communications system had begun in the special military operation zone. The station being tested takes up half of the backpack, the rest of which is peripheral equipment.
