The Israeli Broadcasting Authority “Makan” said yesterday that extremist settlers are planning to return to the Gaza Strip to establish settlements there, and that at least 600 families are ready to move to the Gaza Strip to settle there.
The authority said, quoting Channel 7, the confirmation of Daniela Weiss, one of the prominent leadership figures in the settlement movement, that “600 Jewish families, equivalent to about 2,500 people, have registered themselves with the settlement authorities and are ready to set off immediately to resettle settlement in the Gaza Strip, through 6 residential communities.” New”.
The authority added that settlement organizations have drawn up plans to establish an immediate base near the border to establish dozens of settlements in the Gaza Strip.
Weiss added, according to the authority: “We hear about talks in Washington and other countries about the next day in Gaza, but we will not allow the so-called renewed Palestinian authority to rule there,” and she continued, “There is no choice but Israeli control and settlement.”
It is noteworthy that Israel, which occupied the entire Gaza Strip in the 1967 war, withdrew from the Strip, permanently, and dismantled the settlements it had established there, which hosted 9,000 settlers, in 21 settlements.
