Dubai Police revealed that the number of beneficiaries of the free vehicle repair service, as part of the “On Your Path” initiative, reached 395 people, including the elderly, people of determination, and pregnant women, who were exposed to minor accidents and were able to repair their vehicles in approved workshops and return their cars to their place of residence. This is in cooperation with the Emirates National Oil Company – ENOC and Auto Trust (Al Rostamani).
Statistics showed that the number of beneficiaries of the “On Your Path” initiative reached 3,565 beneficiaries since the launch of the initiative, distributed among 138 stations in various regions of the emirate.
The initiative comes as a partnership between Dubai Police and fuel supply companies in the Emirate of Dubai (Emirates National Oil Company – ENOC, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company – ADNOC, Emirates General Petroleum Corporation – Emarat), to provide 6 services, namely the simple traffic accident reports service, accident reports against unknown persons. Lost and Found service, vehicle repair service, police eye service, and E-Crime service.
Captain Majid bin Saed Al Kaabi, head of the “On Your Path” initiative, said that the initiative has achieved great success during the past period since its launch, through the results achieved, as the initiative resulted in 1,679 reports of minor traffic accidents submitted by the public at petrol stations distributed in the emirate, and 496 reports. against an unknown person, 265, the number of cars that were repaired, 129 reports in the police service, in addition to 996, the number of found items that were returned to their owners.
He added that 18 entities underwent training on how to benefit from the “On Your Path” service, represented by ENOC, ADNOC, Emarat, Dubai Taxi Corporation, Emirates Transport, the International Center for Security and Safety, First Security Group, Red Security, Aman Security Training, and Transguard Group. Finally, Emirates Auction, in addition to a number of hotels, with a total number of trainees reaching 7,973 beneficiaries.
Captain Majid bin Saed Al Kaabi confirmed that the initiative played a major role in facilitating and simplifying procedures for customers, instead of going to police stations when traffic accidents are committed, which contributes to reducing time and effort on individuals and police alike, noting that Dubai Police’s cooperation with… Fuel supply companies in the Emirate of Dubai come within the framework of their keenness to provide services that are in line with the government’s directives for the quality of life in society.
