The Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy signed a memorandum of understanding with the Finnish Relief Organization to enhance cooperation and exchange knowledge and expertise in areas of common interest.
This came during a week-long visit, with an official invitation for a high-level delegation from the Academy to the Republic of Finland.
The agreement was signed by Nikolai Mladenov, Director General of the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy, and Dr. Ekkali Karvinen, Deputy Executive Director of the Finnish Relief Organization, in the presence of Amna Mahmoud Fikri, UAE Ambassador to Finland, and a number of senior officials from both sides.
The Memorandum of Understanding aims to enhance cooperation in various fields related to achieving peace and sustainable development, and implement qualitative initiatives to enhance humanitarian diplomacy efforts at the regional and global levels.
On this occasion, Nikolai Mladenov said, “The Finnish Relief Organization has achieved qualitative achievements in the field of developing humanitarian work. By benefiting from these experiences, the new generation of diplomats will be able to deal efficiently with the global challenges we are witnessing today.”
For his part, Dr. Ekali Karvinen said, “We at the Finnish Relief Organization are happy to conclude this agreement with the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy, as a leading diplomatic academy, and we value its efforts in training diplomats to deal with urgent challenges and enhancing diplomatic efforts in order to meet the needs of the most fragile countries in the world.” “.
