Albanian Daily: Citizens of the Czech Republic caught at a military plant in Albania after Russians were detained
Citizens of the Czech Republic were detained at a military factory near the city of Polichan in central Albania, writes Albanian Daily News.
According to the newspaper, this happened a day after the detention of Russian citizens who allegedly tried to enter an arms factory in the Albanian city of Gramsci. “Four Czech citizens were detained for breaking into a weapons factory in Polichan. We are talking about two men and two women aged 40-45,” the newspaper stressed. It is specified that the men were caught on the territory of the factory, and the women were waiting for them outside.
“It has been established that foreign citizens broke the door to the tunnel, where machines for the production of parts for air defense (air defense) are stored. The detainees told the police that they were tourists, ”the publication emphasized.
On Sunday, August 21, the Albanian Ministry of Defense announced the detention of two Russians and a Ukrainian in the central part of the country, allegedly while trying to enter a military plant. The company, located in Gramsci, manufactures defense products.
Later, the Albanian authorities named the names of the detained Russians – Svetlana Timofeeva and Mikhail Zorin.
