Defense Minister Shoigu instructed to exclude massive strikes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on civilians
Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu instructed to increase the actions of the Armed Forces (AF) of the country in all directions in Ukraine. He stated this on Saturday, July 16, writes TASS.
According to the head of the Ministry of Defense, such measures are necessary to prevent Kyiv from launching massive missile strikes on civilians and civilian infrastructure in settlements on the territory of Donbass and other regions.
It is specified that Shoigu gave the relevant instructions after he heard the reports of the commanders of the South and Center groups, which are taking part in the Russian special operation in Ukraine.
In early July, Shoigu announced that Russian troops would continue to ensure peaceful life in the territories that came under their control during a special military operation in Ukraine. He also reported that the military, together with units of the people’s militia of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics (DPR and LPR), completely liberated the territory of the LPR.
