The Liga BBVA MX Femenil is reaching its end in the regular phase and the last day will define the last two teams that will sneak into the Fiesta Grande of Mexican soccer, we are talking about the league.
And it is that in this tournament, the competitiveness has been so high that two of the eight tickets still do not have an owner and there are several teams raising their hands.
It is worth mentioning that Rayadas, Tigres, Chivas, América, Pachuca and Atlas are already in the league no matter what happens and on this last day, the only thing that can change is the place where they finish in the top six.
However, it’s when we move up to 7th and 8th that we find several teams looking to get that long-awaited pass. Currently in those positions are Toluca and Atlético de San Luis with 20 points each. San Luis, thanks to the fact that it already played its last game against Gallos and after obtaining the victory, reached 20 units and eliminated Querétaro from the contention for the ticket to the league by keeping 18 points.
On the other hand, Cruz Azul and Xolos Femenil also have 18 points and if any of them win, they would leave Atlético de San Luis out of the Liguilla since they would reach 21 points. A tie for one of these two squads would leave them out of the league as they would be left with 19 points, not enough to qualify.
Where it gets interesting is here, as Toluca is seventh with 20 points and Pumas ninth with 19. These two teams will face each other and basically whoever wins would be securing their ticket to the league.
If Pumas loses they would stay out, if they tie, it would depend on Cruz Azul and Xolos Femenil losing and if they win, they secure their ticket and Toluca would leave it waiting for what Xolos and Cruz Azul do.
This is how the scenarios are for the league. Who will be the last two guests? There will be surprise within the first eight. We will find out at the end of Day 17 of the Clausura 2022 of the Liga MX Femenil.
