According to THR, director Deborah Chow had worked with writer Hossein Amini and decided to show the scripts to Dave Philoni and Jon Favreau, the minds behind the hit series “The Mandalorian.”
Apparently, the production duo found a lot of similarity between the stories of Obi-Wan and little Luke Skywalker with that of Din Djarin and Grogu (known to many as Baby Yoda).
