Ubisoft, we know well, is not just Far Cry and Assassin's Creed: behind the enormous success of these sagas there are, in fact, many projects that have not achieved the hoped-for success, among which the Watch Dogs.
The series, born in 2014 and made up of 3 chapters, with the last “Legion” released in 2020, has been at a standstill for some years: the reason, according to a well-known insider close to Ubisoft, lies precisely in the fact that the series isfor the company, definitively dead.

According to what the French insider reports, the Watch Dogs series was shelved following the never-successful attempt to turn it into a battle royale.
On the one hand, in short, we find fans disappointed by the fact that, apparently, the series will not continue, on the other hand, however, several will say they are relieved to know that the series is “dead” without contamination by other genres that would have distorted the initial concept.
