A corridor for the export of grain from Ukraine. This would be the idea of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan – according to the Russian agency ‘Tass’ – of which he would like to talk to Putin and Zelensky. “There is an ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia, and we know that agricultural products come largely from these countries. At the moment we have no problems, with 5 million tons of grain in our warehouses, but we would like to increase these volumes” Erdogan said.
The Turkish president then announces his country’s commitment to creating a corridor for wheat: “We will participate in the work, not only for ourselves, but also for other countries. Negotiations are underway and next week we will discuss what steps can be taken with Zelensky and Putin“.
