Donald Trump’s nephew reveals how the former president privately speaks about people with disabilities or African Americans.
Washington DC – During the coronavirus pandemic, Donald Trump is said to have made derogatory comments about people with disabilities. At least, that is what his nephew Fred Trump claims in his book “All in the Family: The Trumps and How We Got This Way”. Here, Fred Trump describes how the former president allegedly joked about people with disabilities at a private meeting: It would be better if they died to keep costs for caregivers down.
In a 45-minute meeting between Trump, his nephew Fred Trump, then-Health Secretary Alex Azar and White House Covid Task Force member Dr. Brett Giroir, the needs of people with disabilities were discussed, such as The Independent further reported.

After the meeting, Trump is said to have called his nephew back to the Oval Office and told him: “These people… the condition they’re in, all the spending, maybe these people should just die,” Fred Trump quotes the president as saying in his book.
Trump is known for not mincing his words. In another example from the book, Trump made derogatory comments about African Americans in the 1970s and insulted them with the N-word.
Since Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign, political rhetoric has also changed. Even then, Trump repeatedly crossed boundaries and shifted the barriers of political norms. Trump will go down in American history as the first former president to be legally convicted as a criminal.
Trump pushes boundaries of political speech ahead of 2024 US election
Trump repeatedly calls for his political opponents to be locked up, and the 78-year-old often describes his election campaign against President Joe Biden as a “final battle.” Trump is “retribution,” a “warrior” for his supporters and their “justice,” as CNN writes and quotes the former president. Revelations such as those of his nephew have long since been unable to harm the former president – especially not in this year’s US elections.

In 2016, many political observers were betting that Trump would have to resign after the release of the “Access Hollywood” recordings, as the Time reported. However, most voters were not very interested in the scandal. And narrowly defeated Hillary Clinton. (sure)
