The state of Chiapas dresses in mourning after fateful accident that took his life of the prominent politician Juan Pablo Montes De Oca.
He licensed deputy and newly appointed Political Operation coordinator of the candidate to the governorship of Chiapas, Eduardo Ramirez Aguilar, lost his life on this Thursday afternoon, along with five more peopleafter the plane crashes in which he traveled together with his family.
The incident took place around 3:00 p.m., when the aircraft, which left Tuxtla Gutiérrez bound for the Palenque international airport, crashed in a mountainous area of the municipality of Salto de Agua.
The residents of the Lote 8 community were the first to alert the authorities, after hearing the roar and noticing the presence of smoke.
Among the fatalities is Montes De Oca himself, his wife and children, making a total of six dead.
Federal authorities have deployed an operation in the area, since it is presumed that the aircraft belonged to the federal government.
The news was confirmed by the candidate of the Let's Keep Making History in Chiapas coalition, Eduardo Ramírez Aguilar, through social networks, who expressed his condolences to the families of the victims.
