Karina Valencia scored both goals for Deportes Tolima in the 2-0 against La Equidad.

The first date will be completed this Tuesday with the match between Cortuluá and Junior.

Deportes Tolima reappeared this Monday in the Women’s League, after two tournaments in which it did not participate. And they began their participation with a victory: they defeated La Equidad 2-0, at the Manuel Murillo Toro stadium, to reach Deportivo Cali in first place in the table.

The team led by John Agudelo quickly gained an advantage that they later held solidly, thanks to a double by Karina Valencia, in minutes 2 and 10.

For its part, Fortaleza began their participation in the tournament with a goalless draw at the Techo stadium against another team that returned to the Women’s League, Orsomarso. The Valle del Cauca squad had not participated since 2019.

Cortuluá and Junior return to the Women’s League

The League will complete its first day this Tuesday, when two other clubs that reappear in the tournament will face each other, Cortuluá and Junior de Barranquilla. That game will start at 3 p.m. and will not be telecast.

The Heart of the Valley team had not participated since 2019 and Junior was absent from last year’s championship.
