Prisoner of war Vodyan: mercenaries from the USA and Poland stormed Russian positions in the DPR
Prisoner of war Yuri Vodyan said that mercenaries from the United States and Poland are fighting on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), who participated in the assault on Russian military positions in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), reports RIA News.
“There were several people from America, from Poland, all of them mostly communicated in English. Stormtroopers, machine gunners. They also went on missions, to the same place where we were sent, to capture points, to capture positions,” he said.
According to him, the salary of foreign soldiers of fortune was approximately twice as high as that of the Ukrainian military, and they also had the opportunity to break the contract at any time and leave.
Earlier, Ukrainian prisoner of war Kirill Dotsenko said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ defense line north of the village of Liptsy in the Kharkov region began to be built about two months ago, but the work was not completed before the offensive of Russian troops.
