The International Criminal Court may issue arrest warrants for Netanyahu in 10 days
The International Criminal Court (ICC) may issue arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Galant in 10 days. This is reported by Channel 13.
Let us recall that on May 20 it became known that the ICC prosecutor requested the issuance of an arrest warrant for Benjamin Netanyahu, as well as Minister Yoav Galant. Israeli President Isaac Herzog called the decision “a collapse for the world’s judicial system.”
Among the war crimes of which Netanyahu and Galanta are suspected is the use of starvation among civilians as a method of warfare.
In early June, the United States Congressional Procedure Committee approved a bill to sanction the International Criminal Court over its request for an arrest warrant against members of the Israeli government and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
At the same time, State Department press service Matthew Miller said that the administration of United States President Joe Biden does not support the imposition of sanctions against the International Criminal Court.
