The lawyers of the Constitutional Court (TC) point out that the CCAA and the regional Assemblies are entitled to appeal the Amnesty Law.
The president of the Court of Guarantees, Cándido Conde-Pumpido, asked the lawyers for a report to find out if they had legitimacy after receiving 15 resources from regional governments and PP Assembliesas well as the Castilian-Manchego socialist Executive, headed by Emiliano García-Page.
The lawyers point out that the Organic Law of the Constitutional Court establishes that the CCAA and Assemblies are entitled to present unconstitutionality appeals against laws of the State that affect them. However, they add that This provision cannot be interpreted restrictively but in favor of the recognition of the legitimationas indicated Europa Press, who has had access to the report.
Following these conclusions, the Plenary of the Constitutional Court will accept the appeal from the Cortes of Aragon for processing. It should be remembered that 16 appeals were presented against the law of deputies and senators of the PP and the CCAA and Assemblies of Castilla-La Mancha, Cantabria, Madrid, Galicia, Murcia, Andalusia, Valencia, Castilla y León, La Rioja, Extremadura and the Islands Balearics.
Likewise, the Supreme Court raised one question, which was admitted for processing, and the Superior Court of Justice of Catalonia, three questions.
