Before “There is room in the background” was crowned as the new queen of Peruvian TV, thanks to her unstoppable audience records, the local small screen broadcast popular and even innovative television programs. The plot was a kind of representation of the society of those years, submerged in the political and economic crisis. However, with fun sequences and special effects that have nothing to envy to modern productions, it captivated thousands of viewers.

After the enormous success of “Taxista ra ra”, Efraín Aguilar decided to once again count on the collaboration of Adolfo Chuiman for what would become a television phenomenon: “thousand trades”. This popular sitcom came through Panamericana TV and also served as a portrait of Peruvian society.
In a short time, its hilarious chapters and charismatic characters became the favorites of the audience, although problems on the channel did not allow its story to close completely and in a dignified manner.

“Such is life” – 2004
Also by the hand of Aguilar, but premiered by the signal of América TV, “This is life” its story began in Arequipa and was mainly carried out by Cesar Ritter, in the role of Lorenzo, who fell in love with Wendy (Vanessa Jerí) and both decided to come to Lima.
Already in the capital city, their romance takes them to the house of Humberto (Lorenzo’s father) in the famous Residencial Aguilar. From then on, we ran into a series of ups and downs that became viewer favorites.
Now, do you think that these productions should have a reboot? Although nostalgia could motivate this idea, the truth is that some previous attempts to do so have not set a good precedent, such is the case of “Whirlwind: 20 years later”, whose premiere in April 2018 left a disappointment among fans. , for which it was canceled in May of that same year.
