The Krasnogvardeisky Court of St. Petersburg arrested for a month the artist Anna Panteleeva, who participated in a nude photo shoot at the Bolsheokhtinskoye cemetery. This was reported by the joint press service of the city courts in Telegram-channel.
According to the investigation, on June 17, 22-year-old Panteleeva, along with a group of unidentified people, was at the cemetery, where they conducted “a photo shoot with elements of nudity against the backdrop of the burial of the deceased, using Christian symbols and paraphernalia.” After this, they posted photos and videos online.
According to Panteleeva, the participants in the naked photo shoot did not pursue the goal of offending anyone. She will be in custody until July 17.
After the photo shoot, investigators opened a criminal case under Part 2 of Article 244 of the Criminal Code of Russia – desecration of the bodies of the dead and their burial places. The maximum penalty under the article is up to five years in prison, reported RBC head of the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city and Leningrad region Vyacheslav Stepchenko.
In March, Anna Panteleeva accused her colleague Viktor Zabuga of rape. The girl said that the incident occurred in May 2021. According to her, after the incident, Zabuga sent her a photograph in which the artist was depicted naked, and began to threaten that he would publish the frame if the girl decided to talk about what happened.
